Pill Pals Express Pharmacy, part of the Health Pals Company, is seeking a Part Time Pharmacy Technician who can work 10 to 25 hours a week.
EDUCATION
- Certified Pharmacy Technician by Certifiable Agency OR 3 years work experience
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
QUALIFICATIONS
Current, unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Missouri

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
In order to be considered for this job, the Pharmacy Technician must be able to fulfill the following requirements:
- Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy environment by complying with procedures, rules, ad regulations
- Enter prescriptions and verify appropriate and accurate information
- Contact patients, pharmacists, and prescriber’s offices to resolve issues
- Collect payment from patients and clients prior to dispensing or shipment
- Process prescriptions (from intake to order completion)
- Resolve customer issues; ensuring accurate information is provided
- Prepare prescriptions to be dispensed including printing labels; selecting and pulling medications from stock shelves, counting medications, and labeling the final product for dispense
- Packaging and organizing daily Rx orders for shipment
- Receive, order, and manage medication inventory
- Exhibit good interpersonal skills and be detail oriented
- Possess excellent verbal, written, and customer service skills
- Must be able to work independently, meet deadlines, be detail oriented, and flexible
- Displays good organizational skills, the ability to perform tasks accurately, and the ability to work efficiently when inputting information.
- Displays basic math and analytical skills,
- Displays ability to type at least 50 words per minute
- Possess knowledge of medical terminology (including sig codes and Roman numeral), brand and generic names of medications and general pharmacy terminology
- Additional duties as assigned
