Role Description
This is a full-time REMOTE role for a Lead Pharmacist in Charge with Alabama license. The Lead Pharmacist in Charge will help oversee pharmacy operations by ensuring regulatory compliance with State of Alabama laws. Pharmacist will serve as Pharmacist in Charge for the State of Alabama. Pharmacist will help with managing tasks, remote call center team, order entry, providing patient counseling, managing staff, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. There will be other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Pharmacist licensure in the State of Alabama
- 3 years Pharmacist experience
- Experience in pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance
- Proficiency in patient counseling and medication management
- Strong leadership and staff management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Multi state license with other nearby states (e.g. Mississippi and Georgia) is a plus.
- Experience with other healthcare IT systems is a plus
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree or equivalent
