Pill Pals Express Pharmacy, part of the Health Pals Company, is seeking a Full Time Pharmacy Manager who can work 32 to 40 hours a week.
EDUCATION
Must possess a Pharm.D. from an accredited School of Pharmacy
QUALIFICATIONS
Current, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Missouri
Preferred: Licensed in both Missouri and Kansas

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
In order to be considered for this job, the Pharmacist must be able to fulfill the following requirements:
Possess strong inbound and outbound telephonic skills, or ability to quickly learn
Verifies prescriptions for accuracy, while maintaining an error rate that is much lower than industry standards;
Evaluates patient histories and performs drug utilization review
Interprets physicians’ orders on medications
Creates, accesses, inputs, and retrieves prescription information from the computer system and verifies whether the order is accurate
Consults with customers, patients and / or physicians regarding use of medications and potential drug interactions
Analyzes and investigates concerns using our Quality Management System
Provides explanations and interpretations within area of expertise
Provides health education and coaches patients, customers, physicians, and consumers on treatment alternatives to assist them in best decision making
Identifies problems or gaps in care offering opportunity for intervention
Takes in-bound calls and / or places out-bound calls as dictated by consumer and business needs
Exhibit excellent clinical skills and judgement
Display efficient written and verbal communication skills
Be capable of working under pressure and appropriately prioritize responsibilities
Be a great team player
Be capable of utilizing computers and patient databases for clinical management purposes
Be capable of typing at least 50 words per minute
Be proficient in the following Software:
